Although West Nile Virus is the disease you hear the most about, there are many similar diseases that can be transmitted from the mosquito to humans.  There are also several diseases that can be transmitted from ticks to humans.  These various illnesses are listed below along with information on how to "Fight the Bite" this spring and summer.

 

 

 

 

Diseases that can be acquired from a mosquito bite include:
